This facility offers the only night skiing and snowboarding in all of Grand County. Grand Ranch has some of the country’s best Nordic trails. Enjoy cross country skiing and snowshoeing on the ranch’s two networks of trails, East Mountain and Golf Granby Ranch. The activities continue during the summer. The mountain and trails become the ultimate spot for biking adventures. There are cross country, downhill, and family biking trails throughout the ranch. Other fun warm weather activities include hiking and fly fishing along the Fraser River. You can also hit the greens at the 18 hole mountain golf course Golf Granby Ranch.



Snow Mountain Ranch (1101 County Road 53) is another fantastic facility located in Granby. As part of the YMCA of the Rockies, this ranch is the perfect spot for families to spend time. There are day passes available that include access to many of the activities and facilities as well as additional fees for some of the other activities. During the winter, there is dog sledding, downhill skiing and snowboarding, fat biking, horseback riding, ice skating, nordic cross country skiing trails, sleigh rides, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and tubing. During the summer, there is archery, canoeing, challenge course, disc golf, fishing, hiking, miniature golf, mountain biking, playgrounds, sand volleyball, summer tubing hill, tennis, white water rafting, and ziplining. Snow Mountain Ranch has a great indoor facility, Kiva Recreation Center, that offers programming and amenities that can be used regardless of the weather outside. The Kiva Recreation Center has basketball courts, a craft shop, climbing wall, roller skating rink, soccer field, swimming pool, and so much more. Beyond these two sites, there are many other spots around Granby for outdoor fun. Grand Elk Golf Club (1300 Ten Mile Drive) is Colorado's only "Craig Stadler Signature Golf Course". Transportation in Granby Colorado

The location of Granby makes it easy to travel throughout Grand County and the immediate region. Both U.S. Routes 34 and 40 run directly through town and connect the community to the larger transportation network in the region. Granby is also home to an Amtrak Station (438 Railroad Avenue). The California Zephyr line runs through the station daily. This route runs from Chicago to the San Francisco Bay area.
